I was meditating for a while
And I came to a conclusion
Everything in this life is fleeting
But Your word is not

And I have failed so many times
I thought it was the end
And I, who have felt lost
Only found myself in You

I understood that I owe You everything
Yet, You ask nothing from me
You know what my future holds
And You ease my soul

I realized that no fruit is harvested
From a tree that hasn't been wounded
And that growth takes time
And the pleasure is in the journey

And I learned everything from the Lord
Even if, sometimes, through pain
And You never questioned me
But You didn’t let me die

And You said: My son, you can't give up
Look at the path, you've made it this far
Hold on a little longer, the time is nearly here
And continue with this strength, set an end to this fear
